All players not already protected on team's 40-man roster and on season disk are eligible. 3. Team with worst overall record drafts first, best is last. 4. The draft will be conducted in January. It will be held live in the league chat room. Those who cannot attend must send in a list with players ranked in order of preference. Commissioner will then select first available player on list when that manager's pick comes up. 5. Trading is allowed during the draft. 6. NEW - Managers who want to continue to select players after the draft has ended must send a list to commissioner and then the draft wil continue 48 hours after the draft has ended until all selections from the lists have been made using the same order as the regular draft. Managers who want to select more than 3 players after the draft will need to make a main roster cut for each player over 3. 7 After the draft completes picks can still be made but will be on a first come first serve basis and will require a main roster cut for each player selected. Commissioner will close the player pool around the middle of February before spring training games start. Ballparks 1. Each team will play in different ballparks. 2. Can change ballpark from year to year but can only choose from available parks. Game Plans 1. Play-by-email or face-to-face. 2. Set up a rotation for the whole year and send a copy to league commissioner. Pitchers must have at least 3 days rest between starts. 3. Two sets of 25 man rosters are allowed. One roster for home games and one for away games. Both rosters are fixed for the whole month. 4. Email a copy of your manager profile for away games for the upcoming month to the commissioner by the 1st of the month. After commissioner receives all profiles from all teams, he will send a new database that contains all updated profiles to the league. You will then install and use this database to play games. 5. You will only play your home games. To Export a Manager Profile 1. Make sure your roster only has 26 active players. Farm your 14 inactive players before exporting your profile. 2. If you don't want a player to be pinch hit for, you can go to MgrProfile, select Depth, select lineup, select Bat, arrow to the player and hit enter. Choose NO for "Can be removed for pinch hitter" vs Right, Left or Both. If you don't want the computer manager using your bench players during road games, we found out this feature is a must. Playoffs 1. All playoff games should be played head-to-head if possible or managers can send profiles to each other and play home games or they can chose to have a third party play the games for them. There is a 2 week limit that the series must be played in or commisioner will SIM the series. There will now be 8 playoff teams. The 4 division winners plus 4 wild card teams. The wild card teams are the 2 teams with the best record that are not division winners. Ties will be decided by a one game playoff. The Division winner with the best overall record plays the wild card team with the worst record. The other division winner plays the remaining wild card team. This is a best of 5 series with the division winner having home field advantage in Round 1. Round 1 Matchups: Best of 5 series Series 1: Gehrig Division winner with best record vs Gehrig Wild card team with worst record Series 2: Remaining Gehrig division winner vs remaining Gehrig wild card team Series 3: Dimaggio Division winner with best record vs Dimaggio Wild card team with worst record Series 4: Remaining Dimaggio division winner vs remaining Dimaggio wild card team Round 2 Matchups: Best of 7 series Gehrig League Winner of Series 1 vs Winner of Series 2 Dimaggio League Winner of Series 3 vs Winner of Series 4 World Series: Best of 7 series Winner of Gehrig League vs Winner of Dimaggio League 2. If both wild card advance the wild card team with the best record will have home field advantage. If a Division winner and wild card team advance, the division winner will have home field advantage regardless of record. In the event of even records, the team with the best record in games played against each other during the regular season will have home field advantage. If that is even then a coin flip by the commish will decide. 3. In best of 5 series, team with home field advantage is home in games 1,2,5. In best of 7 series, team with home field advantage is home in games 1,2,6,7. 4. Days off best of 5 series are after games 2 and 4. Days off best of 7 series are after games 2 and 5. 5. games. This will carry over to the 2nd round if
series goes less than 5 games
For batters and relievers
that go over:
For every 5 PA/BF that they go over, they will miss one game.
EX: Player 1 went over 30 PA. 30/5= 6 games. So they
would miss the first six games of the playoffs. This will carry
over to the 2nd round if series goes less than 5 games.
